American Montessori Internationale
The Association Montessori Internationale was founded in 1929 by Dr. Maria Montessori to maintain the integrity of her life's work, and to ensure that it would be perpetuated after her death. WSMS is AMI Accredited, which means parents can can be confident that our school is meeting the required standards for their child to receive a true Montessori education. AMI audits all AMI-accredited institutions to ensure each classroom is facilitated by one AMI-trained teacher, that each classroom contains a complete age-appropriate set of Montessori materials and the activities in the classroom are consistent with AMI guidelines.
